Castello di Neive is an important and historic winery in Piedmont, located in the small village of Neive, not far from the town of Barbaresco. The winery was founded thanks to Giacomo Stupino, a surveyor who, thanks to his great knowledge of these areas, began to buy the land and vineyards located in the best positions.

Initial production was reserved for private consumption and the sale of wine in bulk, but demand grew until Giacomo decided to purchase the Castello di Neive with its large, historic cellars. Giacomo's sons, Italio and Giulio, carried on the work of their father, who died in 1970, and gave a turning point to the company by bottling the Castello di Neive brand wines for the first time.

Traditions are important but it is fundamental to continue training and studying, a path that Italo follows meticulously, even collaborating with the University of Agriculture in Turin.

In recent years Italo has dedicated himself and his body to the development of the brand with an important focus on foreign markets. Today the estate covers an area of about 60 hectares, 26 of which are planted with vines, cultivated with nebbiolo, barbera, arneis, dolcetto, pinot nero, albarossa, riesling, grignolino and moscato.
